Fostering Our Future
|The Foster Care Program offers services designed to provide a loving nurturing and safe environment for children who have been removed from the custody of their parents due to child abuse or neglect. The placement of the child may be temporary or long-term depending on the biological parent’s ability to provide support nurturance and supervision of their child.
Stable, caring foster parents are needed at GACS. Homes are needed for short-term emergency care, as well as homes for children requiring long term and adoptive placements. Professional supervision, support and financial subsidies are provided to homes that meet State licensing requirements. Guardian Angel provides Foster Parent Licensing for those interested in becoming foster parents.
